I have been to this Bobby Byrnes many times and out of all my experiences I would probably give it an average of 3 stars. There have been times where I've experienced excellency at this restaurant, but there have also been times where I left disappointed. However, the good experiences were enough to make me want to come back.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is pretty average and casual; nothing really stands out in a good way or a bad way. It definitely has a Cape Cod feel to it though.

Party of five. Wanted to sit outside. Told half an hour. Waited over one hour. Tourist season, bah! Food good, dependable, reasonable.
The service is great when you get the right people. Like I said, I've had good experiences and bad, and that applies to the service, too. Most of the time, our server is happy to help and down to earth, but I had one of my worst experiences with a server here a few years ago.

So sad, I've been going there since they opened. Occasionally, you'll have an off night if you frequent a pub enough. Food quality as well as service has diminished. Went last night and had two specials, Beef Stew (a can of Dinty Moores would of been an upgrade) and Chicken Parm, how do you mess up Chicken Parm. The Desert came with the meal, Carrot Cake, was so small, why bother.
As for the food, I LOVE the fish and chips. It is my favorite entree here and it always comes out crispy and perfect. Their burgers are good, too. I have also tried the baked Mac N' cheese (yes, I'm an adult and still a huge fan of Mac N' Cheese...) as well as the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo. Unfortunately, the Mac N' Cheese was anything but cheesy and certainly not a casserole. I was also unsatisfied with the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo: the chicken was rubbery and the dish as a whole was tasteless.
